Set in the Dark Ages, the story follows one family as they struggle against the doctrines of the church, realizing in the end that God's Word is the supreme authority. The thrilling drama includes the exciting action of a sword fight, the tragic devastation of the Black Plague, and the cunning of political intrigue, balanced by two comical gossips and a court jester. Featuring both historical and fictional characters, the play is an enlightening lesson in church history, as well as a clear presentation of the gospel, and challenge to Christians to stand firm upon their Biblical foundation in Christ.
