The true story of John Wycliffe, the first man to translate the Bible into English, with the added storyline of a medieval family struggling against the doctrines of the established church. Their questioning leads them to the truth that God's Word alone is the final authority for faith.
The thrilling drama includes the exciting action of a sword fight, the tragic devastation of the Black Plague, and the stratagem of political intrigue. All of this is balanced with the comic appearances of two gossipy old ladies and the clumsy antics of a court jester. Featuring both historical and fictional characters, the play is an enlightening lesson in church history as well as a moving story that will touch the heart. Performance time is 1 - 1 1/2 hours.
